Launch of Sea of Thieves for PlayStation gains new speculation

After rumors emerged about the release of Sea of Thieves for PS5 , the news began to spread quickly across the web. As a result, insiders went after their own sources to find out what is true, and respected journalist Stephen Totilo brought news on the topic.

In a post published on Game File, Totilo confirmed that Microsoft had considered releasing a PlayStation version of the multiplayer. According to him, the idea was to launch the game at the beginning of 2024, although there is no more specific date or window.

Unfortunately, the manufacturer refused a question from the journalist when he got in touch to request a possible statement about Sea of Thieves. It is worth mentioning that Microsoft may also have given up on its initial plans.

Therefore, as nothing has been made official by the developers, all information must be treated as rumors.

Sea of Thieves is available for Xbox One, Xbox Series and PC.
