Overall, with the release of the Galaxy S24 series, Samsung has achieved obvious results in terms of performance improvements.
Recently, Tech QRP noticed that the Samsung Galaxy S24 series is about to be released. This time the S24 series will have two versions of Exynos and Snapdragon processors.

According to the recent report we, Samsung is Through optimization, the performance gap between Exynos2400 and the third-generation Snapdragon 8 is continuously narrowed.

Specifically, in the latest Geekbench benchmark test, the Exynos chip achieved a substantial leap in performance. Its single-core score increased from 2067 points to 2193 points, and its multi-core score soared from 6520 points to 6895 points.

The Galaxy S24 Ultra, equipped with a Snapdragon chip, has a single-core score of 2297 points and a multi-core score of 7104 points. Although Qualcomm Snapdragon still maintains the lead, the significant improvement of Exynos2400 shows that Samsung has a firm determination to close the performance gap.

Exynos2400 and Snapdragon 8Gen3 adopt different strategies in CPU core configuration. Exynos adopts a "1+2+3+4" layout, while Snapdragon chose a "1+3+2+2" layout. Despite the differences in the core layout of the two, they both achieved decent performance improvements in the latest benchmark tests.

It is worth noting that the Exynos2400 is equipped with two additional low-power cores, which may improve its battery life. However, Snapdragon 8 Gen3 achieves performance compensation by increasing the frequency of the basic and main cores, thereby maintaining the current performance advantage.

Overall, with the release of the Galaxy S24 series, Samsung has achieved obvious results in terms of performance improvements. Although Exynos2400 is still slightly inferior to Qualcomm Snapdragon 8Gen3, the obvious progress trend gives us reason to believe that Samsung’s performance in mobile phone performance will be even better in the future.
